Man treated after cellar fire in Edinburgh
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire in a cellar yesterday that left a man needing treatment for smoke inhalation.
The fire broke out at a house in Corstorphine Hill Avenue in Edinburgh just after 8am.
An ambulance was requested for a 45-year-old man who was suffering from smoke inhalation, a fire service spokeswoman said.
After extinguishing the fire, firefighters vented the building.
A fire engine from Crewe Toll and two engines from Sighthill fire station were called to the scene.
