Latest part of M80 upgrade completed
The beams, which form the new Mollinsburn bridge in North Lanarkshire, had been due to be put in place last week, but a 1,200 tonne crane brought in to lift them developed a fault.
The 320 million project to upgrade an 11-mile stretch of the A80(M) between Stepps and Haggs began last year and is expected to be completed by 2011.

The A80 has been restricted to one lane northbound, with the southbound lane running as normal, to allow the removal of the crane and associated vehicles.
