John McEnroe to return to Edinburgh
Mr McEnroe, 54, who won seven Grand Slams and was famous for his outbursts at umpires, said: “The last time I was in Edinburgh was 1989, so it will be nice to be in Scotland again after such a long time.
“I have been playing pretty well lately and training hard so hopefully I will be able to bring my best tennis to Edinburgh and win the title.”

Hide AdOrganisers said they were delighted to secure an appearance by the famously loud-mouthed American at the tournament, which takes place in June – the first time it has been staged in Scotland. And they revealed other top tennis names would soon be confirmed in the line-up.
Tournament Director Viki Mendelssohn said: “We have a host of other exciting names to release and tennis fans are going to be in for a real treat at the calibre of tennis we are bringing to Scotland.”
