Ex-editor of Sun tells of alcoholism battle
A FORMER editor of the Sun has described how he battled with alcoholism during his time at the paper.
David Yelland began drinking as a teenager and said it was no exaggeration to say he "was drunk nearly every night for 24 years". He said he often wrote the Sun's leader column while drunk.
