City wardens to tackle dog mess problem
Environmental staff will patrol Colinton Mains Park and Harrison Park this month, armed with liquid chalk.
They will use the chalk to highlight dog mess that is left on the grass and call taskforce squads to come and remove it.

Hide AdWardens will also hand out fixed penalties to anyone who they find not cleaning up after their pets.
Dog fouling bags, as well as information and advice, will be offered by wardens.
The initiative will take place on April 24 and 26 in Harrison Park and on April 25 and 27 in Colinton Mains Park from 7am to 10pm.
It has previously been tried in other parts of the Capital and is designed to highlight the issue to irresponsible dog owners.
