Canadian orchestra’s Usher Hall tribute to soldier
Musicians at Canada’s National Arts Centre Orchestra will also dedicate their performance to Corporal Nathan Cirillo who was shot by the gun man yesterday.
The man, named Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, was himself killed by police after entering the national parliament.

Hide AdA spokesman for the orchestra said: “In the spirit of condolence and remembrance, Canada’s National Arts Centre Orchestra will dedicate tonight’s concert, at Edinburgh’s Usher Hall, to the memory of Corporal Cirillo.
“Before the concert begins, the audience will be asked to join the players in a minute’s silence, as a mark of respect for this life lost far too soon, and in the most tragic way.”
Canada’s National Arts Centre Orchestra is on a UK tour of remembrance, performance and education to mark the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War.
