Aberdeen hospital crash death ‘was medical’
The 75 year-old man, who has still to be named, was pronounced dead at the scene shortly before noon today after his blue BMW collided with a fence in the grounds of the hospital complex between the David Anderson Building and the Blood Donor Centre.
The road was blocked for almost two hours as a result of the incident.

Hide AdA spokesman for the Aberdeen Division of Police Scotland said: “Police Scotland can confirm that a 75 year-old man has died following reports of a one-vehicle road traffic collision at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in the Foresterhill area of Aberdeen. Early enquiries indicate that the man died as a result of a medical matter.”
