Listen as an emotional Nicola Sturgeon discusses not being able to see her family
Nicola Sturgeon has said that “the things that everybody is struggling with, I’m struggling with too” while discussing the coronavirus outbreak on Radio Clyde this morning.
The First Minister admits: “The very idea that I can’t just go and see my mum and dad right now… if I stop and allow myself to think about that...that will upset me in the way it would upset anybody.

“There are key moments when the magnitude of all of this hits… I have to take a step back.”
This interview with the First Minister comes a few hours before her daily briefings that are being held digitally due to social distancing measures.
