Second Olympic win for Pinnacle Technology
The Stirlingshire-based company is supplying data, satellite and wireless internet connections for Africa Village, an exhibition put together by 53 countries to promote the continent’s “artistic, cultural and sports assets”.
The village – set up in Kensington Gardens, opposite the Royal Albert Hall – is the first of its kind to be set up by the African national Olympic committees and will include folk dances, music and events dedicated to each nation.

Hide AdPinnacle chief executive Alan Bonner said: “We are delighted to be supporting this innovative initiative.”
The deal comes on top of Pinnacle’s contract with the BBC to provide internet, microwave and telephone links for the 22-storey Stratford broadcast tower on the edge of the Olympic park in East London.
