Manchester United see record profits and revenue
Revenues in the three months to December hit £110.1 million, up 8.7 per cent year-on-year, with profits of £50.2m at the adjusted EBITDA level, compared to £44.9m a year before.
Six new sponsorship deals helped its sponsorship revenue climb by almost 50 per cent.

Hide AdThe club, which recently signed shirt sponsorship deal with the American car giant Chevrolet worth £357m over seven years from 2014, is forecasting revenue of “between £350m and £360m” in the current financial year.
United shares have taken flight on the New York Stock Exchange after a much-criticised listing last August. They now trade at almost $19 (1,224p), up from the $14 listing price, and making the club worth more than $3 billion.
