Lloyds appoints new chairman for Scottish Widows
Parent company Lloyds Banking Group said Prettejohn, who takes up his new role with the Edinburgh-based firm on 23 June, will replace Lord Blackwell, who remains chairman of the state-backed lender.
Blackwell said: “He will be a valuable addition to the group board and is ideally suited to carrying on the role of chairman of Scottish Widows.

Prettejohn, who is a member of the BBC Trust, is a former chief executive of Prudential’s UK and European operations.
