Kingdom FM licence triggers investment
The station, which broadcasts throughout Fife, would have been out of licence at the end of this year, but now has the green light to continue until the end of 2027. Managing director Blair Crofts and station manager Darren Stenhouse are both Fifers, and 80 per cent of shareholders are local business people and residents.
There are also a number of big-hitters on the station’s board, including Ian Condie, senior partner at Condie and Co, and businessman Robert Kilgour, founder of the UK’s largest care home operator.
