Chinese airline group eyes bid for 10% of BAA
Spain's Ferrovial is studying offers for 10 per cent of its British airports subsidiary BAA, with China's air terminals owner HNA reportedly a leading suitor.
HNA is also the parent of Hainan Airlines. A Ferrovial spokesman said: "The sale process is open, and we're studying offers. We'll announce a decision once we've made one."
Ferrovial wants to sell the stake to trim debt. Analysts have estimated the stake will cost about €200 million (172m), and the sale will happen in the next few months.
