Allison will 'ease burden' for Tulloch's Sutherland
Sutherland will focus on his role as chief executive of the Inverness-based company, to ensure its ongoing recovery.
Allison, 62, will add the chairmanship to a number of other directorships.

Hide AdHe is chairman of Peel Ports, which owns property and infrastructure assets throughout the UK including Clydeport, the Manchester Ship Canal and Doncaster-Sheffield airport.
He is also chairman of Keepmoat and UK Smart Metering Group and is a non executive Director of Celtic, a partner in Kiltane Investments, an Ambassador of the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice in Glasgow and a council member of CBI Scotland.
Until recently, he was chairman of Wood Mackenzie, a position he held for six years, and previously held senior positions in Glunz, Rank Zerox, Scottish & Newcastle Breweries and ADT.
