Astronomers get set for Aberfeldy '˜star camp' for gazing at night sky

Organisers say the area’s dark skies and absence of street lights make it ideal for stargazing.
The camp will be held between September 30 and October 3, but access to the site will be limited to 100 people.

Hide AdOrganiser David Millar said stargazers would be travelling from as far as the north of England.
He said: “There’s nothing else of its kind anywhere in Scotland, apart from Galloway. This is the first year and it’s a bit of a test to gauge interest, but it’s hopefully going to be an annual event.”
The Cosmos Planetarium, based in West Lothian, will be bringing up equipment for people to experience.
