It’s a scream: Edvard Munch painting goes on display
Edvard Munch’s The Scream will go on public view for five months at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art in Edinburgh.
The print was made by Munch himself and is one of only two in existence which were hand-coloured by the Norwegian artist.

The artworks are contained in The Gundersen Collection, a private collection of Munch’s lithographs and woodcuts described by gallery chiefs as “outstanding”.
The exhibition will be supplemented with additional prints. The show opens on 7 April and runs until 23 September.
