Rangers: transfer troubles
The ones that got away
Tomer Hemed: One of Ally McCoist's primary targets, the 24-year-old Israeli striker rejected a contract offer from Rangers, opting instead to head for the Spanish sunshine and Real Mallorca.
Craig Conway: A long-time target, the former Dundee United winger was the subject of a failed loan bid by Walter Smith in January and any hopes of a permanent switch ended when he joined Malky Mackay's Cardiff City last month.

The ones they still want

Lee Wallace: Hearts have rejected two offers from Rangers for the Scotland defender, who has one year left on his contract, with the second reported to be close to 1 million.
Carlos Cuellar: Has expressed an interest in returning to Ibrox and McCoist says talks are continuing with Aston Villa, following reports they will have to double their 1.5 million offer for the Spanish defender.
