There’s a full card of top flight matches on Wednesday night – but there are no games being broadcast live by the major television providers.
That means it’s club TV online streams for fans wishing to tune in to the last games of 2020.
St Mirren’s in-house TV channel is streaming the game live to season ticket holders here. Rangers supporters, and pay-per-view customers, can purchase the game for £12.50.
Former Rangers player and director of football Gordon SMith, once an assistant to Jimmy Bone at the Buddies, will be hosting with another player of both clubs, Andy Webster, on co-commentary duties.
Rangers TV subscribers in the UK will be offered live audio and a full re-run of the game available on Thursday morning.
Form
St Mirren: WLWWWDWW (7th)
Rangers: WWWLWWWW (1st)
St Mirren are one of the form teams of Scotland at the moment, failing to win just twice in their last eight games.
That resurgence has lifted Jim Goodwin’s side to seventh in the SPFL Premiership – and they’ve also been boosted in the past week by a 3-0 walkover defeat given to Motherwell at the Buddies’ expense being suspended pending an appeal over the club’s COVID-19 protocols.
One of the team’s wins came against Rangers and the Paisley side now have a Betfred Cup semi-final date at Hampden to look forward to.

Away from home Steven Gerrard’s side have drawn three matches – to Benfica, Hibernian and Livingston, lost one, and won the remaining 12.
Team news
Scott Arfield is a ‘worry’ for Rangers after his injury sustained not long after coming on as a substitute against Hibs on Boxing Day. Ryan Jack’s anticipated return from the treatment table is also taking longer than anticipated, despite assistant manager Gary McAllister saying he was back training on the grass at Murray Park.
The Buddies had a full squad to choose from going into the festive run of games, which has brought a win in Dingwall but defeat at Hibs.
Previous Meetings
Rangers were defeated by the Buddies 3-2 a fortnight ago with goals from Conor Goldson and Steven Davis cancelled out by Jamie McGrath’s brace and a late winner from Connor McCarthy.
The last time Saints took league points from Rangers was May 1, 2016 in a 2-2 draw. The last league win for the Saints was Christmas Eve 2011.
