Rangers celebrated win over Celtic 'too much' and took eye off league title as Connor Goldson admits last season's lesson learned
After a 1-0 win over their Old Firm rivals to move 19 points ahead, the reaction of the Rangers players, while pleased, was understated at full-time – because they have their eyes on the prize, the defender said.
He conceded he and his team-mates over-celebrated at Celtic Park last season when they won the corresponding fixture 2-1 in 2019-20, but have learned from their mistake – and know it’s not enough to just beat Celtic in games this season.

Speaking to Sky Sports as part of the build-up to this afternoon’s match at Aberdeen, the Rangers vice-captain explained: “I think we've learned from that now.
"This time last year was a big thing to go to Celtic Park and win. The club hadn't done that in a long time.
"It was a big monkey off our back to do that but now I don't think it's enough for us to just beat Celtic.
"We all know what the main objective is and that's what we're pushing towards. We know there's still a long way to go and a lot of big games coming up.”
Rangers faced Aberdeen with the chance to go 22 points clear of their second-placed Old Firm rivals, with Celtic not due in action against Hibs until Monday night.
