The 23-year-old grew up an avid Celtic fan and came through the club’s youth system, making 170 appearances for the first team and winning back-to-back trebles before completing a £25m move to Arsenal in the summer of 2019.

He has become a mainstay in the Gunners starting 11 under Mikael Arteta, playing his part in winning last season’s FA Cup triumph, although this season has been more difficult with the London club currently languishing in 14th place after a run of seven games without victory.
