Caps must avenge big loss to Clan
Both teams split the opening period with a pair of power-play goals. Braehead, who controlled the majority of the game throughout, then took charge of the scoreboard as well as the ice, skating to a 3-1 lead after 40 minutes with goals from Matt Hanson and Ash Goldie.

Hide AdEdinburgh, who lost Slovakian defenceman Michal Benadik to injury during the first period, battled hard but Clan’s superiority told in the final ten minutes when they added three further goals through Jade Galbraith, NHL star Drew Miller and Brock McPherson.
