Ex-Hibee Dobbie on target as 'unbelievable' Blackpool reach Wembley
Blackpool produced what the manager described as their best-ever performance to beat Nottingham Forest 4-3 at the City Ground last night and reach the Coca-Cola Championship play-off final.
The Seasiders led 2-1 from the first leg at Bloomfield Road on Saturday, but twice fell behind to Robert Earnshaw goals. DJ Campbell and then former Hibs striker Stephen Dobbie, who came on as a substitute, scored the equalisers before Campbell quickly netted twice to complete his hat-trick and ensure Blackpool would be in the Wembley showpiece on May 22. Forest substitute Dele Adebola scored in injury time but it was mere consolation as Blackpool sealed a 6-4 aggregate victory.
