Dalbeattie ease to victory

Dalbeattie opened brightly and, with a minute gone, Scott Milligan drove a shot against the post. A goal was only delayed, however, as two minutes later Nicky White outjumped the Hawick defence to head home a Hugh Cameron cross.

In the 16th minute, Jack Dingwall added to Dalbeattie's tally with an angled shot.

Dalbeattie dominated the remainder of the game but failed to turn their pressure into goals until Darren Leslie scored two minutes from time.
