New premier for Cayman Islands

Julianna O’Connor-Connolly was appointed premier of the Cayman Islands yesterday, succeeding McKeeva Bush, who was ousted in a no-confidence vote on Tuesday, a week after his arrest on suspicion of corruption. He had called for parliament to be dissolved.
