Spectre one of highest-grossing movies in UK
THE latest James Bond blockbuster Spectre has become one of the UK’s top 10 highest-grossing films after just three weeks.
Since opening on October 26, Spectre has taken £79.59 million at UK cinemas, according to figures from Sony.
That’s more than the total box office for recent smash hits Mamma Mia, Toy Story 3 or Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows Part 2.

Hide AdSpectre is now the seventh highest-grossing film in the UK since comparable records began. It has still got some way to go to beat the £106m earned by previous Bond film Skyfall, however.
When adjusted for inflation, the highest-grossing film in the UK is Titanic, with earnings of more than £110m.
