Passengers were left stranded on a plane for about nine hours at London’s Gatwick Airport yesterday after their flight was diverted.
The Air India flight, from Mumbai to Heathrow, was diverted to Gatwick at 8am because of fog. The plane stayed on the tarmac while waiting for a new crew to arrive and finally took off just before 5pm.
