Toy library is ready for play

A TOY library is to open next week in the Gorgie/Dalry area.

The facility launches on Wednesday in St Martin's Church, Dalry Road, and will then be open on Mondays from 10:45am to 11:15am and Wednesdays from 1pm to 2:30pm.

Partner churches in the area – St Michael's, St Martin's, St Colm's and Gorgie – decided to open the library following the closure of a similar venture years ago.

Grants were received from the Daisy Chain Trust, city council and Scottish Community Foundation.
