Staff taking healthy steps
TEAMS of staff at West Lothian College have been improving their fitness by taking part in a challenge.
As part of the Paths for All Walk at Work Step Count Challenge, which runs until April 27, staff at the college were each given a pedometer to measure exactly how many steps a day they were taking in comparison to the 10,000 required for a healthy baseline of fitness.
Beth Brownlee, of West Lothian College, said: “So far everyone’s really enjoyed taking part and a few people have mentioned how surprised they are at just how many steps you take on every-day activities.”
