Service users' input needed

CANCER patients are to be consulted on possible changes to a service in the Lothians.

The South East Scotland Cancer Network (SCAN), based in Edinburgh, is consulting on ways to improve the service in tough economic times.

Modernisation manager Tom McCarthy said: "There has been an increase in demand for services because more patients are being diagnosed with cancer, and more people are living with cancer and requiring ongoing supportive care."
