Saskia has talent to spare

SHE'S already been tipped for stardom by David Hasselhoff after making it to the final 200 contestants for Britain's Got Talent 2011.

Now nine-year-old Saskia Eng, who has only been singing for a year, has reached the regional finals of another nationwide talent competition - Britain Does Variety.

Saskia, who lives in Balgreen, is one of 20 acts who will perform in the regional finals in Aldershot on Saturday. The top five acts will go through to the national final in London on June 11.

Saskia's dad Tony said: "They did auditions in Glasgow earlier in the year but at the time, due to her commitment to Britain's Got Talent, she was unable to perform.

"Therefore she entered via a video of her singing Price Tag by Jessie J. The judges were very impressed."
