Rugby team win through for Archie
Players from Murrayfield Wanderers took part in a cycling challenge last April which saw them cover the distance between Land’s End and John O’Groats to collect cash for young fan Archie Anderson.
The six-year old – whose mum’s partner, Cammy Bushell, played for the club – had been accepted for an operation in the US, but in order to receive the treatment his family had to raise more than £50,000.

Cammy said: “Archie had the operation called a selective dorsal rhizotomy (SDR) in July last year. This involved flattening out his feet, something which he has been unable to do since birth.
“He now has to build up the strength in his legs and back and he attends a physio three times a week.”
