Woman arrested over referendum ballot theft claims
Council chiefs have rejected the claims and insisted the documents had been removed from a storage area.

Hide AdA police spokeswoman said: “Police Scotland arrested a 28-year-old woman on Monday following the theft of referendum materials in East Lothian. Enquiries are ongoing at this stage and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
