Lazarowicz disconnects internet bill
He was one of several Labour MPs among a total of 47 MPs who voted against controversial plans to regulate the internet.
The Digital Economy Bill, now set to become law, is designed to crackdown on piracy with measures including rules that could see people's internet connections cut off.

Hide AdMr Lazarowicz, MP for Edinburgh North & Leith, said: "There is a need to cut large-scale illegal file sharing when it is done for commercial gain.
"However, I was concerned that the clauses could criminalise people who simply want to share content with friends."
