Trump cards
The way in which Donald Trump and his empire’s heavies (aided and abetted by our easily over-awed Stoneybridge parliament and local police) trampled over residents, journalists and the environment in the Menie estate made me so angry and ashamed: angry that our nation’s interests were not being protected but despoiled, and ashamed that I had not taken an active interest at an earlier stage.
Heaven help the Americans (and world peace for that matter) if Trump were to go further than give support but actually became their president.

Perhaps Ms Horton, like Scottish ministers, has a short memory. A ministerial decision was made in the “national interests” that allowed Mr Trump to develop a site of special scientific interest (SSSI) so that he could come to Scotland to spend his millions. Mr Trump was given the green light because his development would create sufficient jobs, clearly enough to disregard the site’s SSSI status.
The wind power industry constantly makes demands for more money to be taken from the pockets of its customers while few local jobs are created.
Mr Trump’s organisation has made no such constant demands from the public, unlike the wind power industry and its environmental cohorts.
