Man faces dog death trial
A MAN is to face trial for allegedly kicking and stabbing a dog to death.
Richard Sinclair, 41, denies attacking the dog in November last year, causing it to be severely injured and eventually die.
At a hearing at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday, the court was told he would face trial on December 12.

Hide AdHis defence agent Rachel Aedy said her client was maintaining his plea of not guilty, and lodged a special defence of incrimination.
Sinclair, of South Lorne Place, Edinburgh, is also accused of breach of the peace and having an offensive weapon in a public place.
Sinclair spoke only to confirm his name.
