Lifeboat rescues boy after tide surge
A BOY had to be rescued after he walked along a pipeline on the Firth of Forth and became stranded when the tide surged in.
The 11-year-old holidaymaker's mother called the coastguard, which sent a lifeboat to pick him up.
The crew was assembled shortly after 2pm yesterday at South Queensferry.
