Latest Haymarket hotel plans slammed
Tiger Developments was forced to abandon its previous plans for a 17-storey hotel on the site, a former railway goods yard, following a public inquiry.
Critics claim the latest scheme would be an eyesore next to Haymarket station and still ruin a host of views to and from the area.

Hide AdThe Cockburn Association said that apart from the removal of the high-rise five-star hotel, the latest design is little different from the one that was rejected.
Director Marion Williams said: "The overall height of the development is a significant concern.
"The roofs of the proposed buildings are lumpy and cannot be considered a landmark."
Tiger Developments hopes to gain planning permission for the development by the end of the year.
