Knox ends political life
THE deputy provost at East Lothian Council has announced he will stand down at next year’s elections to pursue other interests.
Councillor Roger Knox, who was elected in 2000 and took up the deputy provost role in 2007, said if re-elected he would be 75 when his tenure came to an end and has decided “it’s time to do other things” while he was “in reasonably good health”.
