Holiday lodges rejected

COUNCIL chiefs have rejected a bid to build five new holiday lodges on green belt land.

Keith and Gail Grant applied for planning permission in December to build the lodges on land at Woodhouselee Road in Penicuik, Midlothian.

But the proposals have been rejected by Midlothian Council on road safety grounds.
