Scotland's weather: Nation braced for more snowfall
Forecasters have warned that more snow and icy conditions are expected overnight and into today.
Yellow severe weather warnings are in place across the country and motorists are being warned to take extra care.

Hide AdThe Met Office said around 3cm of snow could be expected in many places, reaching up to 8cm in the hills. Temperatures will also remain low, dropping to -7C around Aviemore. The weekend’s big freeze saw temperatures plummet to nearly -12C in northerly parts, with -11.8C recorded at Kinbrace in Sutherland.
Other rural villages saw lows of -10C for the second night in a row. The deepest snowfall was in Dumfries and Galloway, with 15cm lying around the village of Eskdalemuir yesterday.
The latest dump of fresh snow has been welcomed by skiers, sledgers and snowboarders, with people turning out in droves to take advantage of the conditions.
