£14,000 drugs haul as police raid Kirkcaldy address

Drugs with an estimated street value of £14,000 have been seized after a police operation in Kirkcaldy.

It took pace around 9:00am on Wednesday when officers searched an address in Westwood Avenue in the town, and recovered the drugs - believed to be heroin.

A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the find.

He has been released on an undertaking to appear at court at a later date.
