Hide AdDrones, mountain bikers and groups of people on foot have been involved in the search for the missing dog who hasn’t been seen since Monday morning.
Rose and Craig have left out a trail of their clothes and food from the location where Koda was last seen along a route out of the Parc Mhor wood to the gate at the east side in a bid to get him home.
At the time he went missing, Koda was wearing a bright red ruffwear harness and a blue collar with his name and contact information on.
Rose said: “We just can’t sleep at the moment, we are constantly searching.
"It’s just so overwhelming the feeling of losing him.
"We really hope he’s not injured. I think he must have a scent and just ran with it. He’s a very confident, happy dog and it’s not like him to run off like this.”
A Facebook group, with more than 250 members, has since been set up for the missing husky which is called Find Koda.
"There hasn’t been any sightings so far that we know of, but the response from the community has been wonderful," Rose said.
"The place where he went missing is fenced, which is why we normally take him there in case he does run off. So he’s either maybe hurt or has got out somehow and run off.”
