Youth recruitment scheme scores top marks
Research by the University of Glasgow has revealed that all of the Scottish businesses which have received Investors in Young People (IIYP) accreditation rate the experience as “positive” or “very positive”.
The research reviewed opinions and experiences of the 172 businesses that were accredited within IIYP’s first year.

Hide AdA new framework for the second year will have an emphasis on “stretching organisations that have excelled at developing practices for recruiting, retaining and developing young people”.
Gemma Cannon, general manager of the National Piping Centre, which has achieved the new accreditation level, said; “Almost half of our employees are under the age of 25 so the IIYP accreditation seemed like a natural fit for our business.”
