With the demand for craft beers on the rise, Lidl stocks more than 40 products in its brewery section with 12 of these falling under the local ales section.
Paul McQuade, head of buying for Lidl in Scotland, said: “We have worked closely with the Black Wolf Brewery to produce our Belheather Whisky Beer using only the finest Highland single malt whisky, which we hope our customers will enjoy.”

The firm said that the opening was the “natural next step” given its significant client base in the region and having been active in the area for more than 20 years. It sees Andrew Paul appointed as a senior executive officer.
Barratt squaring up to challenges
Housebuilder Barratt Developments revealed it is reviewing prices in London after softer sales across the capital but said Britain’s housing market overall remains “robust”. Barratt said although the wider UK property sector was “healthy” in spite of Brexit uncertainty, the market for high-end homes in London was “challenging”.
